Sparkly Snowflakes for Fab Friday

Hey stamping friends! I can't tell you how good it feels to be back to stamping (at least a little). I have had to sit out the last two challenges at Fab Friday because I just couldn't manage to get cards made in time. I'm glad that things are settling down a little bit and I am finally adjusting to my new responsibilities and my new routine.

So, it is Friday (YAY!) and it is also a Fab Friday (double YAY!). We have a fun sketch for you this time. Check it out...

I took a few liberties with the sketch because I don't own the Chevron punch. I used banners instead and I think it works. Don't ever let something like that keep you from playing along. The sketch is just a starting point and doesn't have to be followed exactly. Here is my take on this one...

Stampin' Up Supplies Used:
Stamps: Festive Flurry, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Brushed Silver, Island Indigo, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer, Winter Frost DSP stack
Ink: Island Indigo, Coastal Cabana
Accessories: Big Shot, Festive Flurry framelits, Bitty Banners framelites, rhinestones

I just love sparkly Christmas cards. Between the silver glimmer paper, the Brushed Silver CS used for the base (which is hard to see in the picture) and the rhinestone in the center of the snowflake, this card is pretty blinged out!

I hope that you will come and play along with the Fab Friday challenge. We'd love to see what you make. Be sure to also check out all of the other design team member's projects. You won't be disappointed.

Christmas Buffet Choices

Hey there! Yes, I am still alive. Life has just been kicking my tail lately. I have taken on several new roles at my kids' school and it has really thrown me for a tailspin trying to get everything figured out. I haven't been stamping at all (or at least not until just a few days ago when I started working on the samples I am about to share).

Below are the choices for my first Christmas Card Buffet of the year. This buffet will be held on Friday, October 25th. If you are a local customer and plan to attend, please be sure to email me (reedmarla622@gmail.com) to let me know which designs you would like to make and how many of each. Please remember, that I ask that all attendees make at least ten cards, but there is no maximum. I need your RSVP and preorder no later than Monday, October 14th. When ordering your cards, please be sure to include the name of the card listed above the picture in order to avoid any confusion. Please excuse the poor photography here. This is a regular card so you can write a greeting on the inside, but it has this little added "card" on the front which is perfect for holding a gift card. My card was inspired by this card made by Cindy Beach.

Thanks for stopping by today! Local ladies, I can't wait to stamp with you on the 25th!
