Hello, Babies!

Today, I have my final card from my class to share. This is another design that I made in two versions, one for a baby girl and one for a baby boy. I used the adorable and very versatile new set called Embellished Events for this cute ducky image. I also used bright colors and I love they way they turned out. This was a great class card because they were very quick to stamp and assemble.

Stampin' Up Supplies Used:
Stamps: Embellished Events, Sweet Essentials
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Brights DSP stack
Ink: Lucky Limeade marker, Daffodil Delight marker, Pumpkin Pie marker, Tempting Turquoise pad, Melon Mambo pad
Accessories: Big Shot, Argyle EF, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Daffodil Delight seam binding, dimensionals, glue dots
Techniques: marker to stamp, dry embossing

I hope you liked all the cards I made for my class. I hope to have some new cards to share this week. Maybe I can catch a few minutes to stamp sometime this weekend as it looks like we are housebound due to the extreme heat and humidity. It is supposed to be 100+ today! Yikes! Stay cool and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Blue and Gold Baby Thank You

Hello! I hope that you are having a great weekend. Mine has been a blast! I had a card class on Friday night and there were eleven fun and fabulous ladies here andwe had a wonderful time.

My kiddos were away overnight last night, so I stayed up late and did some stamping. A friend of mine requested some baby thank you cards for her little one that is arriving this spring. She and her hubby graduated from WVU and are huge mountaineer fans, which inspired the color combo for this card. I used Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight to create the Mountaineer Blue and Gold. This is what is so nice about making your own cards- you can customize them to fit your personality!

This is a pretty quick card to make, which is the perfect type for mass production. The little baby outfit is from the level one hostess set in the Occasions mini catalog called "Slice of Life". I colored it with a blender pen in Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight ink. The card base was run through the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I really liked the way this sweet little card turned out and I'm glad my friend did too!

Have a fantastic Sunday! I have more cards that I will try to get posted over the course of the week. Check back soon!

Sugar and Spice... Twice!

Hello! Thanks for taking a minute to stop by my blog today. I have this super cute (and easy) baby card to share with you today. A good friend of mine had twin girls a few weeks ago and I made this card for her. On the inside, I wrote "Twice" to make it work for the twin girls.

I found the tutorial for this card a while ago on Lauren Meader's blog. It is such a quick and easy way to make a baby card. All you need is cardstock, two punches, a ruler, some scissors and a baby-themed stamp.
See the second comment below for a link to the photo tutorial by Lauren Meaders.
Have a great week! If you get snow, be safe!
